About the role

We are seeking passionate and experienced baristas who are excited to be part of our newly opened establishment.

The Monocle Caf is an intimate and bustling space located on Rue Bachaumont. Offering artisanal coffee and tasty treats its a welcoming space that showcases our passion for hospitality.

Essential to your success is your ability to work effectively as part of a small team and your commitment to providing excellent service and a welcoming environment.

The successful candidates will be responsible for:

-Developing a thorough understanding of our menu items and products preparing a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and coffees

-Utilising your barista expertise and in-depth knowledge of exceptional coffee

-Providing exceptional customer service and effectively handling any customer feedback

-Ensuring that cleanliness and hygiene standards are met as well as correct maintenance of caf equipment

-Accurately processing customer orders and payments

-Supporting with planning and delivering caf events

Our caf is open seven days a week. Benefits include Allpress barista training and staff discounts at the Cafe and The Monocle shop.
