What We are Looking For:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Project Manager to join our IT Project Management Office. This individual will be responsible for leading a range of technology initiatives that support the firms strategic goals working closely with stakeholders across departments and with the IT technical teams. The ideal candidate will bring at least 7 years of experience in project management exceptional communication and problem-solving skills and a strong commitment to client service. Prior experience with complex projects in a law firm or legal environment is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning execution and delivery of IT projects across the firm
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and technical teams to define project scope objectives timelines and deliverables
  • Manage project budgets including tracking expenses reporting on variances and monitoring overall financial performance
  • Track and report on project progress risks and issues ensuring transparency and accountability
  • Facilitate meetings manage project documentation and provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders
  • Analyze business needs engage with technical leads to evaluate solution options and help develop practical recommendations
  • Ensure a high level of client service and responsiveness throughout project lifecycles
  • Contribute to the continual improvement of project management practices within the IT PMO

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT project management preferably within a professional services or legal environment
  • Proven ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across practice groups and departments and at all levels
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g. Agile Waterfall Microsoft Project etc.)
  • PMP certification or equivalent is an asset
  • Experience managing project budgets including expense tracking and financial reporting

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitude
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and the ability to understand and summarize issues and solutions
  • Highly organized and self-motivated with a willingness to go the extra mile to meet project and stakeholder needs
  • Approachable helpful and service-oriented personality
  • Good judgement and decision making
  • Resourceful
