A Brief Overview
This position is responsible for the creative initiatives production and design of digital marketing promotions and communications content for all Athletics & Recreation programs services and varsity clubs/teams. Further this position is responsible for updating High Performance Sports and Recreation websites and coordination of all video photography and webcasting requirements.
This position develops and implements a sports information media plan and oversees the established sports information budget. This position confirms materials are compliant with various leagues sport regulations and reporting requirements. This position writes media releases game previews/recaps team personnel biographies team performance highlights awards nominations and event or media guides and prepares content for game day and season program. This position maintains statistical information and tracks performance and accomplishments of current and former athletes and coaches. This position also directs allocates and supervises the work of other staff.
The schedule for this position requires the incumbent to work variable hours on a regular basis including evenings and weekends. This position is subject to the Averaging provisions of the USW Local 2010 Collective Agreement.
