Two vacancies exist for aPre-K Counts Teacherto work at the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit in the Office of Early Childhood full-time position provides instruction to children ages 3-5 years old.

Qualifications:

Valid PA Certification in Early Childhood Education (PK-4) required.
Knowledge of best practices and experience with differentiation.
Ability to work with and relate to young children and families of diverse backgrounds.
Ability to work in harmony with administrative instructional and non-instructional personnel.
Experience in an early childhood setting preferred.
Current police child abuse and FBI Fingerprint Clearances required

Duties & Responsibilities:

Implement the curriculum.
Provide a safe and secure classroom environment that meets the needs of all participating children in the program.

Location:
The Montgomery County Intermediate Unit PreK Counts program has classrooms located throughout Montgomery County PA. More information on the PreK Counts program can be found athttps:// Vacancies are in the following locations:

Early Learning Academy (1605 West Main Street Norristown PA 19403)
Methacton at Arrowhead Elementary (232 Level Road Collegeville PA 198426)

Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday 7.5 hours/day 10 months (194 days/year)

Salary:
Bachelors/Instructional I: $40800/year
Masters/Instructional II: $43860/year
