Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical hydraulic and electrical components to diagnose and resolve issues accurately.
- Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair maintain and upgrade.
- Perform both major and minor engine drive train and electrical repairs up to and including complete overhauls.
- Repair or replace broken parts and resolve any issues.
- Keep accurate logs on all work performed.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase overall customer satisfaction.
- Produce quality work that demonstrates pride of workmanship.
- Maintain your assigned workspace in an organized and clean manner.
- Make every effort to achieve the production objectives set by management.
- Perform other related or similar duties as required.
- Maintain all safety standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
The person in this position should at least meet the following:
- Pre-Delivery Inspection
- Must have a valid TWIC badge (required)
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical electrical hydraulic and electronic components of vehicles
- Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods.
- Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment including lifts.
- Must be able to adapt to new methods processes material and equipment.
- Must be responsible reliable and able to work under pressure.
- Must be self-motivated and conduct oneself in a professional manner.
- Must be able to work within and be actively engaged and involved in a team environment.
