Our department

This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic enthusiastic and inspiring classroom practitioner to join our successful and forward-thinking Design and Technology department. The D&T department prides itself on providing our students with a rich curriculum that gives students the skills and knowledge they need to solve tomorrows problems. The popularity of Design and Technology has allowed us to offer Product Design at KS5 where many of our students go on to pursue the subject to degree level. The successful applicant will work with us as part of a team to continue to provide a first class creative education in DT.

Our Design Technology department delivers a range of subjects to KS5 including GCSEand A Level Product Design GCSE Food preparation and Nutrition and Food Science and Nutrition at A Level. Our department consists of two DT workshops two fully stocked food preparation rooms and one textiles room. Our curriculum offer is ambitious and constantly under review and you would be encouraged to participate in discussions around how we can provide first-class design and technology provision to our students.

Early Careers Teacher

Applications are invited from those with experience of teaching Design Technology or Early Careers Teachers. An excellent knowledge and understanding of the subject is essential. You should possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students and share our single goal of students first
