The Global Fashion team is one of eBays most vital verticals generating approximately $10 billion in Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV). Our focus spans key categories such as apparel sneakers watches handbags and jewelry. We drive initiatives like eBays Authenticity Guarantee Connected Products and Certilogo all aimed at building the future of circular fashion. As the Strategic Projects and BizOps Lead for Fashion you will play a crucial role in advancing the success of eBays Global Fashion programs. You will lead these programs end-to-end providing strategic support to the VP of Fashion and eBays Fashion Leadership Team (LT) through executive-level presentations and ad-hoc analyses. Your leadership will encompass executing strategic projects nurturing strategic partnerships and leading all aspects of operations. You will report to the Director of Strategy and Strategic Partnerships for eBays Global Fashion Business Unit.
What You Will Accomplish:
Executive Presentations: Create and deliver high-impact presentations for executive audiences transforming complex scenarios into clear compelling narratives. Support the Director of Strategy & Partnerships and VP of Fashion in preparing for key meetings.
Analytical Support: Perform qualitative and quantitative ad-hoc analyses to offer insights and support decision-making for eBays Fashion LT.
Program Management: Manage and lead key strategic initiatives and operations within the Global Fashion Business Unit ensuring successful execution and alignment with business objectives.
Strategic Projects & Partnerships: Initiate and execute strategic projects and partnership engagements from start to finish. Navigate a complex stakeholder map and collaborate with adjacent functions to achieve successful outcomes.
What You Will Bring:
Experience: 5-7 years of experience in management consulting with a proven track record in strategic project execution and business operations.
E-commerce expertise: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the e-commerce industry demonstrating a strong understanding of market dynamics and consumer behavior.
Fashion industry knowledge: Experience in the fashion sector especially with online and re-commerce platforms is highly desirable.
Project management skills: Proven track record to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously showcasing exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Presentation skills: Skilled in creating executive-level presentations that effectively communicate strategic insights and recommendations. Excellent storytelling abilities capable of crafting narratives that engage and persuade diverse audiences.
Data analysis: Proficient in analyzing complex datasets quickly deriving actionable insights to support business decisions.
Travel: Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:
$174400 - $232800Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including location skills and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
