Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking for a fresh challenge in a well-established and forward-thinking company Our client based in Wellingborough is seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
Youll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of plant equipment supporting continuous improvement and promoting the highest safety standards across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out mechanical and electrical maintenance on all plant equipment.
- Perform building maintenance repairs when required.
- Develop and follow a routine maintenance schedule in coordination with the Plant Manager.
- Conduct fault finding and repair on a wide range of systems including electrical control panels and hydraulic systems.
- Lead or support improvement projects to enhance plant safety and efficiency.
- Adhere to and enforce electrical and mechanical safety procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations in all maintenance operations.
- Maintain a clean and organised maintenance area.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance.
- 18th Edition qualified (essential).
- Ability to safely operate scissor and boom lifts.
- Solid understanding of Health & Safety legislation and best practices.
- Experience with overhead gantry cranes and welding operations is desirable but not essential.
