Job Description
Our client is a Periodontal Office at Bathurst/Dupont is looking for and experienced Dental Assistant 2/3 days. If you want to work 5 days a week you can work at Mississauga location too!

POSITION/JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have Perio and Surgical Experience
- Must have minimum of 3yearof experience
LOCATION:Bathurst/Dupont & Optional Hurontario/Queensway
HOURS:
- Mon (9-5) alternating Tues (9-5) Fri (9-3) in Toronto
- Optional Mississauga location- Tues Wed Thurs (9-6)
- 1 Tues a month will be for ordering/inventory
COMPENSATION:
- $24-$30To be determineddepending on experience and performance
- Assisting dentist during dental procedures that features handing instruments and other materials
- Sterilizing instruments
- Assisting dentist with Perio procedures gum grafting crown lengthening bone grafting implants etc
- Taking x-rays of patients teethand exposing dental diagnostic x-rays
- Using suction and swabs to keeppatients mouths clear and dry during procedures
- Taking preliminary impressions of teeth for study models
- Questioning patients about their medical history and recording theinformation for dentists reference
- Advising patients on dental care oralhygiene and plaque control programs
- Making patients of all ages feel comfortable beforeduring and after dental treatment
