Job Description

Position Overview Saint Joseph School is seeking a dedicated and qualified PreK Lead Teacher to join our early childhood team. The ideal candidate will create a developmentally appropriate faith-filled classroom that fosters curiosity creativity and social-emotional growth in our youngest learners. Qualifications Bachelors degree Previous teaching experience in an early childhood setting is preferred. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a joyful structured learning environment A commitment to Catholic education and the values of St. Joseph School Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Key Responsibilities Utilize the curriculum to plan and implement engaging hands-on lessons that promote cognitive social emotional and motor development. Establish a warm nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning through play. Foster independence and social skills through structured routines and guided activities. Integrate Catholic values and teachings into daily lessons and interactions. Assess and document student progress to inform instruction and communicate with families. Collaborate with colleagues parents and school leadership to support the schools mission and curriculum
