The Division of Developmental Disabilities is seeking to hire an Administrative Assistant I for the Kiley Developmental Center located in Waukegan Illinois to conduct quality assessment reviews of assigned facility units. Performs quality enhancement reviews of habilitation documentation to ensure that clinical record updates and required processes are being implemented. Assist in the monitoring of facility compliance with policies procedures directives practices and standards of the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) Central Management Services (DCMS) and the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH). Conducts lifestyle satisfaction surveys.
Conducts quality assessment reviews on assigned units to verify compliance with Rule 50 requirements Central Management Services (CMS) requirements Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) Department of Human Services (DHS) Administrative Directives and Facility policies and procedures.
Performs quality enhancement reviews of habilitation documentation to determine whether current habilitation plans are entered into clinical records in a timely manner and that behavior intervention skill acquisition program services objectives guidelines data sheets etc. have been updated/written and are in the process of being implemented.
Monitors staff implementation of schedules programs mealtime services and data collection.
Monitors the supervision provided to ensure that the needs of the individuals are met including one-on-one continuous observation frequent observation or moves about freely.
Represents Management on agency committees and in employee work groups to improve and be prepared for surveys.
Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Requires knowledge skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years of college preferably with courses in public or business administration.
Requires one (1) year of professional experience in a public or private organization OR completion of an agency approved professional management training program.
Two (2) years of professional experience meeting deadlines with strong attention to detail while multi-tasking multiple projects.
Two (2) years of professional experience conducting quality assessment reviews verifying compliancewith rules regulations policies and procedures for a public or private organization.
Two (2) years of professional experience working in a public or private organization maintainingconfidentiality and handling sensitive information with professionalism.
Two (2) years of professional experience managing projects for a public or private organization.
Two (2) years of professional experience communicating effectively with both internal and externalstakeholders in oral and written form.
One (1) year of basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
Requires the ability to work after business hours weekends or holidays.
Requires the ability to utilize office equipment including personal computers.
Requires the ability to travel in the performance of job duties with overnight stays as appropriate.
Requires ability to pass the IDHS background check.
Requires ability to pass a drug screen for drugs prohibited from recreational use under Illinois Law.
