We are working on behalf of a welcoming and well-resourced primary school near Malton that prides itself on delivering a nurturing play-based approach to early years education. The school places a strong emphasis on supporting each childs individual development encouraging curiosity creativity and a love of learning from the very start.
We are seeking to appoint a caring enthusiastic and proactive EYFS Teaching Assistant to join the schools Early Years team from September. This full-time term-time position is ideal for someone who thrives in a child-centred environment and is passionate about supporting young children to build strong foundations in their learning and wellbeing.
The successful applicant will bring warmth patience and a hands-on approach to learning through play. Experience in EYFS settings is welcomed but above all a nurturing attitude and commitment to the early development of young learners is essential.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
Supporting early phonics numeracy and communication development through structured play
Working with small groups to deliver engaging and purposeful learning activities
Encouraging positive social interaction emotional confidence and independence
Supporting outdoor learning and sensory play in a well-equipped Early Years setting
