SUMMARY The Operations Solutions Analyst will use expertise to analyze internal and external clients business needs to resolve complex technical problems throughout Operations. Successful candidates have an aptitude for deciphering operational needs and resolving technical issues.
The Operations Solutions Analyst connects necessary bank teams to address business operations and requirements and has relevant data at their disposal to resolve issues swiftly. Their duties include consulting on process improvements uncovering system functionality and navigating through software development acquisition and implementations with vendors and team members. They will lead and execute projects within the Operations Division. This will include maintaining monitoring and updating assigned business processes and/or systems as well as researching routine problems testing or modifications to systems and documentation of policies and procedures.

While operating within the Banks risk appetite achieves results by consistently identifying assessing managing monitoring and reporting risks of all types.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Acts as a subject matter expert during client service/solution implementations and performs daily operational processes as assigned.
Participates in the development and enhancement of systems through technology and automation equipment training procedures or programs. Participates in committees or user groups to represent Operations. Supports new system and process implementations and workflows.
Researches specialized problems and takes action to correct.
Moderates discussions between teams and software providers when issues arise.
Provides technical support to line of business teams and resolves inquires during normal business hours and occasionally during nonstandard business hours.
Analyzes evaluates and recommends system changes configuration and enhancements based on business requirements of assigned applications.
Responsible for timely responses to internal and external customer inquiries and requests; coordinates activities of appropriate Sunwest Bank teams to resolve issues.
Establishes knowledge base of current policies procedures and practices for various departments.
Utilizes test scripts and other required change management documentation to evidence system changes.
Analyzes trends to recommend and implement process improvements reduce errors and increase productivity to better meet clients and business need.
Builds strong rapport with internal and external clients and stakeholders including software providers.
Provides technical presentations to team members and clients to explain how technology works and explaining various solutions to their business needs.
Creates tools and procedures departments can effectively utilize for standardization of processes.
Understands and complies with bank policy laws regulations and the banks BSA/AML Program as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy laws or regulations and report any suspicious client and/or account activity.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
3-5 years banking operations experience preferred but not required.
Technologically inclined with extensive experience with Microsoft Office (Excel PowerPoint and Word) and experience with SQL.
Advanced project management and organizational skills; ability to create momentum foster organizational change and work with members of senior management.
Advanced communication presentation and writing skills for internal and external audiences.
Possess an entrepreneurial business spirit proactively takes initiative to identify solutions and executes with a sense of urgency.
Ability to generate enthusiasm for the bank and to create an environment in which employees are focused on high-quality client service.
Occasional travel required.
