About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant


In this role you will:

  • Consult review and research moderately complex business operational and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors
  • Perform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needs
  • Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements
  • Lead or participate on large cross group projects
  • Mentor less experienced staff
  • Collaborate and consult with peers colleagues external contractors and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Leverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area


Required Qualifications:

  • 4 years of Analytics experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience training military experience education
  • Experience in Analytics or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience training military experience education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in analytics or reporting.
  • Proficient in Alteryx Excel and SQL


Job Expectations:

The Management Information & Reporting team will assist in the automation development and maintenance of key Compliance Operational or Governance reporting. The Senior Analytics Consultant role will ensure reports meet business needs and are delivered on time. This role involves automating manual reports optimizing existing processes and supporting the broader reporting team in providing timely and accurate outputs. The position requires proficiency in analytics tools and strong attention to detail.

  • Assist in automating manual reports by converting them into codified workflows ensuring that all logic and outputs are replicated.
  • Optimize existing reports by improving data sourcing and processing methods for faster execution and efficiency.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency by conducting routine checks on data used in reports.
  • Support the development of operational governance and compliance reports.
  • Help with UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to ensure products are accurate before being deployed into production.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of reporting processes automation and analytics workflows.
  • Deliver high-quality automated reports that meet business needs and standards.
  • Continuously improve reporting processes for greater efficiency.
  • Provide support to the analytics team in handling complex reporting challenges.
  • Collaborate effectively with other teams to ensure smooth data integration.
