Our client a global pharmaceutical company is seeking a proactive strategic and detail-oriented Senior Program/Project Manager to lead BT integration initiatives for mergers acquisitions collaborations and divestitures. This role is vital in ensuring seamless technology transitions regulatory compliance and business continuity during complex corporate transactions. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage BT integration efforts from Day 1 planning through final implementation ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
- Actively engage in day-to-day project activities including issue resolution stakeholder coordination and hands-on project tracking.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including BT Regulatory Quality Legal HR and Business Operations to define integration strategies and road maps. - Manage the integration of infrastructure applications data and cybersecurity systems across acquired or divested entities.
- Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations such as GxP HIPAA and FDA 21 CFR Part 11.
- Provide regular updates to executive leadership and integration steering committees.
- Drive post-merger synergy realisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with work stream leads and the Director of BT M&A Integration to identify analyse and resolve project challenges efficiently and effectively.
- Support operational improvements by developing standardised templates processes policies and procedures to streamline future M&A collaboration and divestiture efforts.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a BT M&A Integration Play book to capture best practices lessons learned and reusable assets.
- Deliver clear concise and professional communications including emails reports and presentations to internal teams external partners stakeholders and executive leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in technology Information Technology Life Sciences or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in BT or IT program/project management with at least 3 years focused on M&A integrations.
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical biotechnology or other highly regulated industries is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to lead M&A BT integration projects from initial planning through execution and post-implementation including collaborations and divestitures.
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Project for building managing and reporting on complex project plans.
- Extensive hands-on experience integrating IT infrastructure SAP Coupa and Veeva platforms during M&A activities.
- Strong understanding of enterprise systems (ERP LIMS CRM infrastructure cloud cybersecurity).
- PMP PgMP or equivalent certification preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to think critically solve complex problems and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging for technical teams business stakeholders and executive audiences.
- Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and manage cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with BT due diligence and post-merger integration best practices in regulated industries.
- Familiarity with clinical systems manufacturing technology and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Proficiency in additional project management tools (e.g. MS Project OnePlan Smart sheet Jira Confluence).
- Experience developing operational documentation and play books for repeatable success.
