About the Role:
A well-established and modern industrial manufacturer is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead all maintenance and facilities operations. This is a hands-on leadership role that ensures maximum uptime safety and operational excellence across the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead schedule and develop a multi-skilled maintenance team (machinists electricians custodians).
Oversee daily preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial equipment and building systems.
Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs using CMMS or equivalent tools.
Troubleshoot issues related to HVAC electrical plumbing and mechanical systems.
Maintain compliance with OSHA and all safety regulations; champion a safety-first culture.
Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for facility upgrades and maintenance.
Review and interpret technical drawings and schematics to support repairs and maintenance decisions.
Monitor equipment performance and improve maintenance protocols to reduce downtime.
Qualifications:
5 years of progressive experience in industrial facilities or maintenance management.
Strong understanding of HVAC electrical and plumbing systems.
Proven ability to lead a team in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Comfortable using MS Office and ideally CMMS software.
Able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Deep knowledge of OSHA standards and safety best practices.
