Job Description
This position encompasses both administrative and clinical aspects of medical assisting. It includes but is not limited to check-in check-out answering telephone calls verifying insurance benefits scheduling and confirming appointments collecting copays deductibles and co-insurances handling incoming and outgoing correspondence processing requests for medical records triage obtaining vitals and other pertinent information from patients assisting providers with exams and procedures and performing diagnostic testing.
Qualifications :
Registered or Certified Medical Assistant designation with a minimum of two years of recent outpatient experience in Internal Medicine Family Medicine or Urgent Care. Associate degree strongly preferred.
