Job Description

RESPEC seeks an experienced Water/Wastewater Project Engineer/Manager for our Fort Myers FL location.

The successful candidate will take the reins in developing our Water/Wastewater group in the Fort Myers FL area to new heights. Your leadership will be pivotal in expanding our footprint delivering high-impact solutions and shaping the future of our water and wastewater projects. Responsibilities include:

  • Lead manage and oversee water and wastewater projects from conception to successful completion ensuring alignment with project scope budget and timeline
  • Collaborate closely with clients stakeholders and team members to define project objectives requirements and technical specifications
  • Conduct in-depth engineering analyses feasibility studies and intricate design work for water and wastewater systems
  • Prepare and review engineering reports plans specifications and other project deliverables to ensure the highest quality
  • Navigate permitting processes and ensure adherence to local state and federal regulations for projects
  • Conduct site visits and assessments to gather essential data and provide technical guidance during construction phases
  • Manage construction activities meticulously track project documentation and adeptly address any design modifications or issues that arise
  • Stay ahead of industry trends technological advancements and best practices to continually enhance project outcomes

Qualifications :

Candidates must have the following:

  • A bachelor of science degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET-accredited program
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida or the ability to obtain within 6 months
  • Approximately 10 years of proven experience in successfully managing water and wastewater engineering projects
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software for hydraulic modeling CAD design and project management
  • Strong comprehension of water treatment distribution wastewater collection and treatment processes
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal to effectively convey complex technical information
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams multitask effectively and manage multiple projects concurrently


Additional Information :

Compensation: Salary depends on several factors including a candidates qualifications skills competencies and experience.
