Job Description
Your job will be to lead the development of a part of a distributed system that serves the hospitality industry. The system consists of many domain-oriented microservices developed under a few cross-functional teams. You can bring a smile on the faces of thousands of people working in hotels across the globe.
Youll be responsible for:
- leading the team and giving guidance for developers
- collaborating on the development and enhancement of data-centric solutions
- working closely with Product and Technical Teams to understand requirements and ensure smooth communication across the teams
- designing implementing and then maintaining new functionalities inside a living system.
- Ensuring technical collaboration of the teams in China and other international technology teams
- Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality software by promoting good practices.
Technologies used:
- C# 9 .NET .NET Core
- Microservices architecture
- Microservices Swagger Docker
- PostgreSQL Redis Kafka
- Visual Studio 2022 and Resharper Rider
Qualifications :
- experience in team leadership in software development area
- being fluent in Object-Oriented and Functional Programming paradigms
- good knowledge of C# .NET relational databases and data warehousing
- fluent English and Chinese with strong verbal and written skills
- knowledge of data exchange file formats and data transfer protocols
- being an open-minded proactive person.
Nice to have:
- understanding of Domain-Driven Design
- experience with CQRS and Event Sourcing patterns
- experience with distributed systems and web services
- understanding of frontend technologies.
Additional Information :
How we work - remote/hybrid work:
- Employees up to 50 km from the office (Katowice) - 4 times a month
- Employees from 50 to 100 km from the office - 2 times a month
- Employees over 100 km - remote work (with occasional visits to the Katowice office)
