Job Description

Expectation

  • Demonstrate a commitment to safety leadership in all work environments and areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete site inspections field assessments and data collection.
  • Assist in tracking of permits licenses authorizations and agreements.
  • Track environmental permits for site development and operation.
  • Conduct internal and external record keeping and compliance reporting.
  • Perform regular permit audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies permit requirements and regulations.
  • Collaborate with operational functional and project management teams.
  • Complete invoicing and track expenditures related to budgets and capital projects
  • Conduct regular environmental audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies environmental laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with operational functional and project management teams to integrate environmental compliance into daily operations.
  • Assist with due diligence on prospective Ready Mix Asphalt and Aggregate sites including field assessment work.
  • Assist in training and guidance to site managers and other employees on environmental compliance.
  • Participate in relevant training and industry associations to stay updated on new and upcoming environmental laws and regulations that may impact the company.

Key Qualifications & Skills

  • Secondary education in environmental science engineering mining land planning or a related field would be a benefit.
  • Relevant experience and knowledge would be a benefit.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Strong technical writing and data analysis.
  • Willingness to complete fieldwork and site visits as required
  • Role will involve some travel (10%-25%)

Rate or Range:$65000 and up
