Key Responsibilities
- Complete site inspections field assessments and data collection.
- Assist in tracking of permits licenses authorizations and agreements.
- Track environmental permits for site development and operation.
- Conduct internal and external record keeping and compliance reporting.
- Perform regular permit audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies permit requirements and regulations.
- Collaborate with operational functional and project management teams.
- Complete invoicing and track expenditures related to budgets and capital projects
- Conduct regular environmental audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies environmental laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with operational functional and project management teams to integrate environmental compliance into daily operations.
- Assist with due diligence on prospective Ready Mix Asphalt and Aggregate sites including field assessment work.
- Assist in training and guidance to site managers and other employees on environmental compliance.
- Participate in relevant training and industry associations to stay updated on new and upcoming environmental laws and regulations that may impact the company.
Key Qualifications & Skills
- Secondary education in environmental science engineering mining land planning or a related field would be a benefit.
- Relevant experience and knowledge would be a benefit.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Strong technical writing and data analysis.
- Willingness to complete fieldwork and site visits as required
- Role will involve some travel (10%-25%)
Rate or Range:$65000 and up
