Job Description
Certified and Registered Central Service Technician qualifications are preferred but not a requirement.
This role will offer an opportunity to perform a variety of sterile processing functions such as assuring proper decontamination quality assurance sterilization of equipment and distribution of sterile surgical instrumentation to areas throughout the affiliate and outside service contracts to ensure quality patient care and safety and identifies and remedies equipment failures and hazards posing potential risks to patients.

o Schedule: PRN As Needed 2pm-10:30pm Weekdays and Weekends
o Facility: St. Elizabeths Hospital
o Location: OFallon IL

Education
High School Diploma or GED is required.
Experience
WI-1-year experience as a Central Supply Tech I or comparable healthcare experience in nursing procedures aseptic technique medical terminology and infection control is required.
IL 18 months hospital central supply or related work experience is required.
Certifications Licenses and Registrations
Certified and Registered Central Service Technician is required.

Pay Range:
$18.00 - $25.20A successful candidates actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience skills training certifications and education.
