Job Description

The Senior Manager of STEM (PK12) drives the vision implementation and support of high-quality Science and Math instruction across the region. This leader ensures alignment with standards instructional priorities and student achievement goals while partnering with schools coaching teachers and leading curriculum initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Instructional Leadership

  • Lead the design and support of Science and Math Instruction (Eureka Squared Illustrative iReady)

  • Support teachers and leaders in curriculum internalization and execution
     

  • Coach leaders on effective instructional practices and data-driven planning
     

Professional Development

  • Lead monthly PD for teachers and leaders across grade bands

  • Build systems that support continuous improvement in Science and Math instruction

  • Curriculum & Assessment

  • Ensure alignment to standards proficiency scales and regional assessments

  • Track KPIs and use data to drive instructional decisions

  • Collaboration & Communication

  • Align with regional academic and school-based teams

  • Communicate goals updates and priorities clearly to multiple stakeholders

  • Oversee the management and administration of critical STEM tests including ACT AP MAP and others.
     


Qualifications :

  • 5 years of Math or Science teaching experience with proven student results 

  • Bachelors degree required

  • Strong knowledge of K12 Science and/or Math curricula and proficiency

  • Experience across elementary and secondary settings preferred

  • Skilled in coaching adult learning and cross-functional collaboration

  • Proven ability to build systems monitor progress and meet ambitious goals


Additional Information :

Work Environment

  • Reports to work Monday-Friday.

  • A typical school or office environment with frequent interruptions.

Travel Requirements:

  • Ability to travel to work location. 

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary is based on years of experience educational background and level of expertise.
