Manage agency documentation supporting EDC-hosted applications and services across Managed Services (MS) Managed Services Lite (MSL) Co-Location (Colo) Cloud and the Secondary Data Center (SDC).
Provide customer support for the creation verification and maintenance of hosted application documents.
Create and maintain technical contact resource lists.
Conduct meetings prepare reports and correspondence and communicate internally and externally to resolve issues and support operational objectives.
Participate in detailed requirements-gathering sessions to support integration with EDC services.
Gather and document requirements including current infrastructure sizing migration/integration timelines and service levels.
Ensure technical requirements align with best practices EDC standards and security policies.
Validate that proposals optimize the use of EDC resources and comply with enterprise guidelines.
Author solution proposal documents detailing hardware software services cost estimates and transition plans.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications such as server/storage sizing licensing needs and support levels.
Create and manage Service Requests for change management using ServiceNow.
Stay current on enterprise IT policies bulletins security directives and EDC practices to ensure compliance.
Schedule and facilitate requirements-gathering meetings with relevant stakeholders.
Track and document the progress and approvals of solution proposals.
Collaborate with Delivery Center board and commission staff to ensure all proposal approvals are secured.
Coordinate deployments with the Managed Services Manager and confirm completion of work.
Prepare periodic status reports outlining proposal submissions approvals and associated costs.
Generate reports and provide recommendations on technology improvements and operational enhancements.
Develop metrics to evaluate request timelines and support capacity reporting for the CTO.
Participate in process improvement initiatives aimed at automating and streamlining the Service Request process.
Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Service Request and Solution Proposal process.
Offer consultative support to agencies seeking ETSO cost estimates for future budgeting.
2 years of experience in an IT position
Experience with hosted application environments including:
Managed Services (MS)
Managed Services Lite (MSL)
Co-location (Colo)
Cloud services
Secondary Data Center (SDC)
Knowledge of server storage and licensing sizing
Proficiency in ServiceNow or similar IT Service Management (ITSM) tools
Experience drafting solution proposals that include hardware software service configurations and cost models
Strong skills in technical and business documentation
Experience preparing and maintaining status reports
Ability to create and manage technical contact resource lists
Ability to track and document proposal approvals and deployment progress
Experience conducting and documenting:
Infrastructure sizing and analysis
Migration/integration timelines
Cost estimations
Risk and compliance assessments
Experience managing change management requests in an enterprise IT environment
