Shop Manager - Wonder Auto Centres
We are looking for a proven leader in the automotive service industry with a customer-centric approach and a dedication to excellence. Skilled in motivating and developing teams while cultivating a positive and high-achieving work environment.This position is at Wonder Auto & Tire Fredericton (Prospect street)which is part of Shift Auto Group. Shift Auto Group consists ofFredericton Mitsubishi Volvo Cars New Brunswick Miramichi Kia 5 ReCar locations St Croix Auto Velocity Autobody& 11 Wonder Auto Centres.

The Shop Manager will oversee the dailyoperations of our Prospect street location ensuring that our high standards ofcustomer service operational efficiency and profitability are role requires a strong leader with a background in the automotiveindustry excellent management skills and a passion for delivering outstandingcustomer service.
Key Responsibilities:
OperationalManagement
Superviseall daily activities of the branch to ensure efficient and effective servicedelivery.
Manageinventory tools and equipment to ensure they are well-maintained andavailable.
Oversee thebranch budget including monitoring expenses revenues andprofitability.
TeamLeadership
Recruittrain and manage staff ensuring they have the skills and knowledge necessaryto perform their roles.
Foster apositive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional development.
Conductregular performance reviews and provide feedback and coaching to staffmembers.
CustomerService
Ensureexceptional customer service by maintaining high service standards andaddressing customer inquiries and complaints promptly.
Develop andimplement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
Overseeappointment scheduling to maximize service efficiency and minimize wait timesfor customers.
Sales andMarketing
Develop andimplement sales strategies to achieve branch targets and drive revenue growth.
Monitormarket trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
Promote thebranch through local marketing initiatives and community engagement.
Complianceand Safety
Ensure thebranch complies with industry regulations and company policies.
Implementand enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment foremployees and customers.
Qualifications:
Provenexperience as a Shop Manager or in a similar leadership role within theautomotive industry.
Strongknowledge of automotive repair and maintenance services.
Excellentleadership and team management skills.
Outstandingcustomer service and communication skills.
Ability toanalyze financial data and manage budgets effectively.
Strongproblem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
High levelof integrity and a customer-first attitude.
Education and Experience:
High schooldiploma or equivalent (required); Bachelors degree in Business AdministrationAutomotive Technology or related field (preferred).
Minimum of5 years of experience in the automotive service industry with at least 2 yearsin a managerial role.
