As part of our continuing growth in this high technology market Teledyne Digital Imaging is recruiting for an Application Engineer !

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Application Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Application Engineer will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our clients needs and our technical capabilities. This role involves providing technical support designing and implementing solutions and ensuring the optimal use of our products. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Customer Interaction

• Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions that meet their business needs.

• Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions to educate customers about the features and benefits of our products.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.

Solution Design and Implementation

• Analyze customer requirements and design technical solutions that align with their objectives and our product capabilities.

• Work closely with the development team to communicate customer feedback and participate in the enhancement of our products.

• Assist in the preparation of technical documentation including user guides installation manuals and troubleshooting guides.

• Perform system installations configurations and integrations as needed to ensure seamless deployment of our solutions.

Project Management and Collaboration

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales marketing and development to ensure a cohesive approach to customer satisfaction.

• Participate in internal meetings to provide updates on project status customer feedback and potential improvements.

• Stay up to date with industry trends emerging technologies and best practices to continually enhance our offerings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science or a related field.

• Proven experience as an Applications Engineer or in a similar technical role.

• Strong understanding of software and hardware systems with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

• Proficiency in C/C Python or similar programming languages.

• Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and support deployments.

• This position involves cross-divisional collaboration and communication with internal customers in Canada outside Quebec.

Desirable

• Knowledge and experience with Teledyne products including cameras optics and machine vision.

• Familiarity with software tools specific to Teledyne products including Astrocyte Sherlock and iNspect.

Tches et responsabilits :

Interaction avec les clients

• Collaborer avec les clients pour comprendre leurs besoins et fournir des solutions sur mesure qui rpondent leurs besoins commerciaux.

• Raliser des dmonstrations de produits et des sessions de formation pour duquer les clients sur les fonctionnalits et les avantages de nos produits.

• Dvelopper et maintenir des relations solides avec les clients en assurant leur satisfaction et leur fidlit.

Conception et mise en uvre de solutions

• Analyser les besoins des clients et concevoir des solutions techniques qui salignent sur leurs objectifs et les capacits de nos produits.

• Travailler en troite collaboration avec lquipe de dveloppement pour communiquer les retours des clients et participer lamlioration de nos produits.

• Aider la prparation de la documentation technique y compris les guides dutilisation les manuels dinstallation et les guides de dpannage.

• Effectuer des installations des configurations et des intgrations de systmes selon les besoins pour assurer le dploiement sans faille de nos solutions.

Gestion de projet et collaboration

• Grer plusieurs projets simultanment en assurant la livraison en temps voulu et le respect des spcifications du projet.

• Collaborer avec des quipes interfonctionnelles y compris les ventes le marketing et le dveloppement pour assurer une approche cohrente de la satisfaction client.

• Participer des runions internes pour fournir des mises jour sur ltat des projets les retours des clients et les amliorations potentielles.

• Se tenir au courant des tendances de lindustrie des technologies mergentes et des meilleures pratiques pour amliorer continuellement nos offres.

Qualifications :

• Diplme de licence en ingnierie informatique ou dans un domaine connexe.

• Exprience avre en tant quingnieur dapplication ou dans un rle technique similaire.

• Solide comprhension des systmes logiciels et matriels avec la capacit de diagnostiquer et de rsoudre des problmes techniques.

• Excellentes comptences en communication et en relations interpersonnelles avec la capacit dexpliquer des concepts techniques complexes des publics divers.

• Solides comptences organisationnelles et en gestion de projet avec la capacit de prioriser les tches et de respecter les dlais.

• Matrise des langages de programmation C/C Python ou similaires.

• Volont de voyager selon les besoins pour rencontrer les clients et soutenir les dploiements.

• Ce poste implique une collaboration entre les divisions et une communication avec des clients internes au Canada lextrieur du Qubec.

Souhaitable

• Connaissance et exprience des produits Teledyne y compris les camras de la vision optique et de la vision industrielle.

• Familiarit avec les outils logiciels spcifiques aux produits Teledyne y compris Astrocyte Sherlock et iNspect.
