Nurse Practitioner (NP) Diploma
Masters or Doctorate in Nursing Science
Active registration and license in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
35 years of recent experience as a Nurse Practitioner in primary health care.
Additional Desirable Qualifications:
Experience in clinical supervision of NP students
Experience teaching at the Masters level
Important: The selected candidate must be available to teach the theory portion of the course. Therefore they must apply to both the clinical and theory postings.

This course is designed exclusively for students in the Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner (PHCNP) program. It focuses on the analysis and critical evaluation of key concepts and frameworks related to advanced health assessment and diagnosis with an emphasis on the use of clinical reasoning. Students are expected to apply clinical theoretical and research knowledge to conduct both comprehensive and focused health assessments leading to the development of individualized diagnostic plans of care.
