Whats the role
The Financial Crime Surveillance (FCS) team is part of Westpacs Risk Division and responsible for detecting deterring and fighting financial crime.
The Senior Manager Service Management & Assurance is responsible for managing Major Incidents within FCS developing risk papers and overseeing the governance and compliance frameworks related to financial crime surveillance with a focus on assurance engagement (including second-line and third-line reviews).
This role ensures that the organisations surveillance activities comply with regulatory requirements internal policies and industry best practices. You will collaborate closely with the compliance legal and surveillance teams to ensure that governance structures around financial crime monitoring are effective.
