The Manufacturing Engineer will support achievement of manufacturing targets in Safety Quality Delivery and Productivity through daily management and continuous improvement initiatives. This position will develop design and lead complex engineering projects relating to manufacturing process development.
Essential Functions:
Use structured problem-solving techniques to investigate and countermeasure process and product failures equipment failures and quality issues identify root cause and implement solutions
Plans and implements improvement initiatives in Safety Quality Delivery and Cost (SQDC).
Provide manufacturing engineering support to meet and exceed customer quality and delivery expectations
Collaborate with cross functional team on equipment reliability and improvement projects
Applies lean manufacturing tools such as Standard Work 5S and VRK to solve production problems
Design and develop tooling fixtures automation and testing equipment by applying knowledge of product design and manufacturing processes product performance specifications process acceptance criteria and product /system testing.
Participate in the execution of PFMEAs qualification and validation protocols to verify equipment/process capabilities
Work with Product Development team to ensure Design for Manufacturability and ensure timely launch of products within budget
Implement cutting-edge engineering technology by assessing emerging technologies spearheading technology projects and developing advanced engineering solutions related to manufacturing processes.

Education & Experience Required:
BS Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent
1 years Manufacturing Engineering experience can include internships and co-ops
Desired Skills:
LabVIEW experience required.
OrCad or Altium experience required.
Excellent verbal and written communication required.
Structured and analytical problem-solving experience required.
Lean manufacturing experience preferred.
Visual Basic and Visual C experience is preferred
