Job Description

Responsibilities

This position will report to the Sector Vice President Program & Operations to be assigned as the Chief of Staff supporting the VP General Manager for the Defense Mission Systems Business Unit. You will serve as a strategic advisor operational integrator and force multiplier for the leadership team. You will help drive organizational priorities manage cross-functional initiatives streamline workflows and ensure the seamless execution of strategic programs. This role requires a high degree of business acumen government contracting knowledge discretion and leadership capability.

In this role you may:

  • Act as a trusted advisor and proxy to the Business Unit General Manager managing executive priorities tracking key deliverables and driving accountability across the organization.
  • Lead the coordination and execution of strategic initiatives and operational improvement efforts across the Defense and Health portfolios.
  • Serve as a liaison between the business unit leader operating unit leader functional heads and program managers.
  • Develop and manage governance processes for Business Unit operations and program milestone tracking.
  • Support strategy and growth planning efforts including pipeline oversight and executive-level proposal support.
  • Manage special projects and confidential initiatives with speed precision and diplomacy.

Qualifications

  • 1015 years of progressive experience in consulting strategy operations or executive leadership rolesideally within the federal contracting sector.
  • Bachelors degree in Business Public Policy or related field required; Masters degree (MBA MPP MHA) preferred.
  • Strong understanding of DoD and/or federal health agency operations procurement environments and compliance frameworks.
  • Proven ability to influence at the all organizational levels and manage cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; adept at crafting executive narratives and presenting complex information clearly.
  • Security clearance (ability to obtain and maintain) any required depending on program access needs.
