We have an exciting opportunity at nbn as the Senior Project & Governance officer reporting to Executive Manager- PMO & Governance.
A bit about your role
The Senior Project & Governance Officer at nbn is responsible for enhancing the digital capabilities of regional and remote Australia. This role involves supporting the delivery of key regional programs overseeing Business Unit Governance risk management compliance and resilience within the Regional Development & Engagement (RDE) unit.
Key duties include managing risk performance maintaining governance structures ensuring project delivery in line with Program Delivery methodology and supporting commercial operations. The role also assists in project management tasks and fosters a customer-focused team culture while coordinating strategic interlocks with enterprise and delivery teams.
A bit about you
The role requires strong skills in stakeholder engagement risk and resilience management and analytical problem-solving. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are essential for articulating complex information and influencing stakeholders.
The candidate must also have effective time management advanced proficiency in MS Office particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Additionally a solid understanding of project delivery concepts and commercial operations is necessary.
