We are currently looking IT Projects and Governance Officer for our Qatar operations with the following terms & conditions.
TECHNICAL SKILLS & WORK EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge & Experience:

- 8 minimum years experience in analysing functional software applications and IT project management preferably out of which at least 3 years with insurance applications.
- PMP is a must ITIL is a plus and other related certificates
- Strong in IT Governance
- Excellent Business and system analysis skills
- Computer proficiency in programs such as SharePoint and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with IT standards such as SSAE SOC2 ISO 27001 PCI HIPAA/HITECH NIST CSA/CCM
- Testing and QA experience
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Implement software life-cycle methodology
- Develop and maintain information technology plans which outline project status individual tasks milestones completion estimates and resource allocation
- Coordinate the roll-out of beta and production releases
- Inspect projects for quality assurance
- Ensure customer satisfaction through post-project debrief with clients
- Document all estimates project statuses and project completion paperwork
- Work with the technical team to brainstorm new test ideas for technical projects
- Working closely with business end users with excellent communications skills and ability to manage meetings
- Manages and hires staff by recruiting selecting orienting and training new employees.
- Maintains the organizations effectiveness and efficiency by defining delivering and supporting strategic plans.
- Directs technological research by studying organization goals strategies practices and user projects.
- Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and data centres.
- Verifies application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented.
- Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and backup procedures and information security and control structures.
- Recommends information technology strategies policies and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes.
- Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements preparing annual budgets and scheduling expenditures.
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops.
- Coordinate with HC and HRML for all Governance requirements
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
