Job Description
BME Fire Trucks is seeking an experienced Material Handler to be part of our Inventory Team. We are a locally owned Fire Truck manufacturer in Boise Idaho. BME manufactures wildland fire apparatus used in the US and Canada for wildland fire suppression. Be a part of something that makes a difference in saving lives homes and our amazing recreational areas. As a Material Handler you should have exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills as well as written and verbal communication skills. This role involves working closely with receivers pickers paint and production employees. As a Material Handler you will be responsible for:
- Monitoring finished goods and paint inventory.
- Organizing cycle counting moving record keeping of paint finished goods inventory
- Maintaining and updating inventory records of painted finished goods inventory
- Correctly stocking issuing and tracking equipment and supplies
- Using a forklift to move parts and chassis between operations
WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experiencein an inventory/warehouse environment material handling or similar role.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication abilities with the ability to coordinate across departments effectively.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
