Typical work includes:
Companionship--making them feel valued and loved
Light housekeeping so their area is safe
Assistance with meals
Grocery shopping/errands
Laundry
Assistance getting into/out of bed
Shifts can be 4-24 hours long you will have a choice of the assignment you accept.
No CNA is required--you just need to be a loving patient dependable and caring person.
