Position Overview:
The Senior Project Manager will play a pivotal role in managing and executing projects and data quality initiatives within the CDAO. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in project management particularly within Agile and Scrum frameworks. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within scope while fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage multiple high-priority projects within the CDAO ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope goals deliverables resources budget and timing.
Utilize Agile and Scrum methodologies to drive project execution ensuring adaptability and responsiveness to changing project needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including both IT and business stakeholders to ensure seamless project integration and delivery.
Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items such as milestones and deliverables.
Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels providing regular updates on project status challenges and solutions.
Mentor and guide junior project managers and other team members fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.
Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and standards maintaining high-quality project documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Management or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management with a focus on Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
Demonstrated experience managing complex multi-disciplinary projects in a fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change across the organization.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically.
Superior communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Proficiency in project management software and tools including Jira and Confluence
