Job Description
Location: Cologne-Bonn Airport Roster: 5 days on / 5 days off Includes night & weekend shifts
Are you someone who enjoys organizing complex tasks keeping a cool head under pressure and working behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly Were looking for a Junior Line Maintenance Planner to join our team - and no you dont need an aviation background to get started.
What youll be doing
As a Junior Line Maintenance Planner you play a key role in keeping our aircrafts safe and ready to fly. Youll work closely with engineers and operations teams to schedule and coordinate maintenance work. This includes planning checks ordering materials monitoring progress and adjusting schedules when things change - which they often do.
Your typical day might include supporting our Senior Line Maintenance Planners on the following:
- Reviewing upcoming flights and maintenance needs
- Coordinating with technicians to plan short- and mid-term tasks
- Updating digital planning tools and communicating with shift leads
- Troubleshooting scheduling conflicts or last-minute maintenance events
- Keeping an overview of regulatory requirements and ensuring compliance
Shifts rotate regularly including nights and weekends following a 5-on/5-off pattern. This means five days of work are always followed by five days off helping you find a rhythm and keep a work-life balance.

You dont need to come from aviation; were happy to teach you what you need to know. What matters most is how you work:
- You take initiative and enjoy working independently
- Youre quick to understand new systems and processes
- Youre well-organized even when juggling multiple things at once
- You communicate clearly and know how to work as part of a team
- You are comfortable working night shifts and sometimes on the weekends
A German (Kaufmnnische) Ausbildung vocational education or equivalent is a great foundation but were also open to career changers (Quereinsteiger) who bring the right mindset and skills.
