Company:
The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Fabrication is seeking a Fulfillment Manager (Materials Management) Level K to join our Interiors Responsibility Center (IRC) Operations team supporting Boeing South Carolina. This position is located in North Charleston SC.
Our team is responsible for supporting the IRCSC Manufacturing Team supplying a variety of interior products to the 787 Program.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages leads and integrates employees activities across more than one area in materials part inventory management and fulfillment
Develops and executes project and process plans implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
Acquires resources for projects and processes provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and employees/direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes
Manages coaches develops and motivates employees
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
1 years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role
3 years of inventory management experience
3 years of experience working with multiple internal stakeholders and suppliers
Willingness and ability to work any shift based on business needs
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
People focused leadership skills
Ability to multi-task and quickly shift priorities
3 years of experience using Lean manufacturing principles within the production management system
3 years of experience working with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
Bachelors degree or higher
Shift:
This position is variable shift. You will be placed on 1st 2nd or 3rd shift at time of hire based on the current business needs. Willingness to work any shift is required.
