Electrical Product Support Engineer
Location: Based in Barcelona with regular international travel
Department: R&D Product Support
Reports to: R&D Manager
About the Role:
Join the global leader in airport logistics as an Electrical Project Support Engineer and help deliver mission-critical technology to international airports. You will act as the bridge between R&D and operational environments ensuring our innovative electrical systems perform reliably from factory to field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support during electrical installations commissioning and validation of new systems
- Interpret wiring diagrams control system schematics and safety circuits for factory and field teams
- Debug and troubleshoot issues with panels sensors drives and power systems on-site
- Act as a technical interface between electrical designers and field or production stakeholders
- Assist with compliance documentation test plans and regulatory checks
- Contribute to design reviews and feedback loops based on field experience
Requirements:
- BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- 48 years of experience in automation equipment design or electrical commissioning
- Hands-on experience with panel building electrical installation and testing
- Familiarity with low voltage systems drives sensors and machine safety standards
- Ability to travel internationally (10%) and work independently under pressure
- Strong analytical and communication skills
