Job Description

Role impact:

To provide support to the Community Engagement Programming & Events Manager (Office) in day to day activities relating to community outreach client engagement events communications and initiatives to maximize tenant engagement community relevance and market awareness.

Applicants must be full-time students and be available June - August. This role is required to be onsite 5 days a week.


What you will deliver:

  • Support the Community Engagement Programming & Events Manager in developing planning and executing local community initiatives and activities relevant to clients
  • Arrange rentals audio visual catering and decor for events and activations
  • Prepare signage assets
  • Update details on CF website and tenant app as required
  • Assist with on-site execution at events activations workshops and giveaways
  • Set up and monitor event registration sites
  • Coordinate post event reporting and writing for social media and internal CF channels
  • Support other initiatives and administrative tasks as required

What your strengths are:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Highly motivated a team player and self-starter
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer service mindset

What you need to succeed:

  • Enrolled in an undergraduate university program; Event Management Public Relations Communications or related studies considered an asset
  • Proficient with Google Apps and Microsoft Office
  • Bilingual (Eng/Fr) would be an asset
