While performing the duties of this classification the employee is frequently required to stand walk sit stoop kneel bend and work in an office and field/laboratory environment. The job requires hand/finger dexterity to keyboard or type handle materials manipulate tools and reach with hands and arms. Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Senior Program Management Assistant (Project Specialist) to work in our Nuclear Nonproliferation department. Our team works a 10x80 schedule and is based at our DTRA Ft. Belvoir VA location. This location is approximately 20 miles from our Arlington VA office.
In this role you will ensure that technical schedule and budget baselines are controlled throughout each phase of a project. Provide support for projects by addressing ongoing equipment and staff logistical needs. Manage the delivery of support services products and services to customers in accordance with individual program project and laboratory requirements. Coordinate task activities and ensure all phases of the task(s) are documented appropriately. Responsible for effective and efficient management and administration of project tasks. Identify promote and develop plans for new project opportunities and recommend best business practices. Originate documents such as execution plans project plans and operations guidelines. Track team activities and access lists. Coordinate internal/external activities in support of project and customer requirements. You will report to the manager over Nuclear Nonproliferation.
