Policy & Engagement Officer LGR
Salary: OneTeam Band 9 43693 - 47754 (Starting salary dependent upon skills and qualifications.)
Location: Rochford District and Brentwood Borough Council
Fixed Term Opportunity 12 months
Working Pattern: Flexible Hours/Full Time
Hours: 37 Hours per week

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated professional to work across both councils supporting our response to Local Government Reorganisation (LGR).
You will:
- Co-ordinate and contribute to the delivery of the LGR Programme
- Act as project manager for LGR projects
- Act as a key point of contact for the council allowing the co-ordination of devolution and LGR activities
- Ensure Brentwood Borough Council and Rochford District Council maintain an informed position on devolution and Local Government Reform (LGR)
- Lead the planning and delivery of LGR consultation and engagement activities with findings analysed and used to inform the councils approach
- Undertake key research and analysis activity to inform Brentwood Borough Council and Rochford District Councils approach to devolution and local government reorganisation
