Description
Currently hiring: Material Handling Supervisor
Shift:Monday - Friday 9 AM - 5 PM
Facility type:Manufacturing

We are looking for you to:
- Manage a team of Material Handlers
- Interview hire and train employees
- Oversee the daily workflow and schedule assignments
- Operateforklifts and move goods and materials around warehouses and other industrial sites
- Operate machinery including Forklifts and Tuggers
- Ensure aisles remain clear by cleaning and sweeping the floor and removing empty pallets loose cardboard boxes and various types of debris.
- Empty waste and recycled bins
- Assist with production line as needed.
- Assist with janitorial cleaning responsibilities such as but not limited to sweeping mopping anddusting.
- Loading and unloading materials from various vehicles
- Performing equipment checks and basic maintenance
- Following written instructions and keeping records
- Adhering to health and safety regulations
Qualifications
You will have:
- 2-5 years of supervisory experience in the warehouse industry
- Experience managing warehouse or manufacturing operations
- Proven experience motivating and training staff
- Sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines; self-directed
- Ability to plan organize prioritize and achieve effective time management
- Strong service/quality mindset
- Professionalism
- Proven computer skills
