The Regional Manager - Canada West for Leica Biosystems is responsible for providing oversight and management responsibilities to the team of Sales associates and Technical Specialists for the Western part of Ontario and the 4 western Provinces. They are expected to lead the sales division to achieve regional sales and profitability goals within the assigned territory.
This position is part of the Sales team located in Canada and will be fully remote. At Leica Biosystems our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.
You will be a part of the Commercial Organization and report to the Country Manager Canada responsible for driving business growth for the Company across the entirety of Canada for our core business instrumentation and consumable business verticals including Histology Immunohistochemistry and Digital Pathology. In this role you will have the opportunity to:
The essential requirements of the job include:
Education: BA/BS Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
10 years Field Sales experience
3 years Sales Management experience
Experience in clinical research or industrial laboratory setting with a focus on both capital and consumables businesses.
Travel and Motor Vehicle Record Requirements:
Ability to travel up to 75% travel overnight within territory or locations
Must have a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Histology/Cytology/IHC/Digital Pathology market knowledge.

The salary range for this role is $150000 - $170000 CAD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
