An excellent opportunity exists within the Maritime Surveillance Radars Program finance team. To be successful in this role you must be able to communicate effectively with Control Account Managers (CAMs) Supply Chain MPMs Program Operations Managers and program and finance leadership. Frequent interaction with various functions and multiple levels of the organization will be needed so the successful candidate must possess strong presentation communication and professional skills. Finance serves as a critical business partner by providing the analysis insight and guidance to enable strategic decision making and achieve bottom-line results.

Responsibilities will include working closely with Program Managers and Control Account Managers on forecast and EAC inputs tracking of program schedule and cost performance driving corrective actions to closure with functional counterparts ownership of Rplan forecasts and Financial forecasts.

What You Will Do

  • Provide weekly monthly and quarterly variance and data analysis.
  • Support Quarterly Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) development.
  • Provide financial guidance to functional leads and other finance branches.
  • Frequent interaction with various functions and multiple levels of the organization will be needed so the successful candidate must possess strong presentation communication and professional skills.
  • Support the monthly forecast / close process.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically will have a Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or related discipline and 2 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree and less than 2 years of applicable experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel (prefer experience working with large amounts of data).
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

  • Strong Organizational skills; Able to meet critical deadlines.
  • Inquisitive (and acts on it) with strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Experience using SAP/BW.
  • Ability to effectively work in a challenging and fast paced environment while multi-tasking on several different program issues concurrently.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management both verbally and in written form.
  • Strong self-initiative.

Additional Information

  • This position is grade P2 Senior Analyst Program Controls.
  • Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.
  • Relocation assistance is available provided final candidate meets eligibility requirements.

The salary range for this role is 66000 USD - 130000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
