Position Summary:
St. Joseph Catholic School is a Christ-centered Catholic school committed to the spiritual academic and physical development of every student is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Technology Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will inspire students to become confident ethical users of technology and promote digital literacy in a faith-based learning environment.

Position Summary:

The ideal candidate will inspire students to become confident ethical users of technology and promote digital literacy in a faith-based learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a technology curriculum aligned with ISTE (International Society for Technology in Education) standards and school goals.
- Teach foundational computer skills including typing coding 3-D printing digital citizenship internet safety and responsible use of technology.
- Introduce students to a variety of digital tools such as Google Workspace educational apps and basic coding platforms (e.g. Scratch Tynker).
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to support the integration of technology into core subject areas.
- Maintain and manage the schools computer lab and technology equipment.
- Support students in using technology for research presentations and creative projects.
- Model and promote the responsible use of digital tools consistent with Catholic values.
- Attend staff meetings training sessions and school events as needed.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 60 college credit hours or Bachelors degree.
- The desire to work toward licensure for Grades K-8 in Technology.
- Experience teaching technology to children preferably in a K8 setting.
- Familiarity with Catholic education and a willingness to uphold and model Catholic values.
- Strong communication classroom management and organizational skills.
- Comfortable troubleshooting basic technology issues and supporting student device use.
