Position: IT Coordinator
Department: IT
Reports to: IT Manager and Director of Finance
Job Overview: Provides day-to-day support for all internal hotel IT systems and users minimizing any system outages. Gives technical support to guests on software/hardware complaints. Supports the installation configuration and troubleshooting of hardware and software on PC workstations and laptops. Supports users to ensure they have access to the appropriate computer systems and that workstations are working properly. Maintains the security and confidentiality of all software and information stored in the hotel. Follow company policies related to security and operation of computer system to ensure business safety and integrity. Troubleshoot and repair technical problems or issues related to computer hardware and peripheral equipment. Respond to program error messages by finding and correcting problems or terminating the program. Provide technical guidance and recommendations to resolve business problems. Refer major hardware/software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service. Enter commands and activate controls on computer and peripheral equipment (e.g. printers) to integrate and operate equipment. Maintain and upgrade hardware and software including peripherals (e.g. printers scanners) and website technical architecture related to hardware and telecommunication connectivity.
