A bit about the role

Spring Milecrosshave an established and experienced staff team to support any child to reach their full potential including early years teachers and specific training like peg feed training to ensure that they are a fully inclusive setting. The setting offers a home from home environment to cater for the needs of all children including those with SEN needs. Spring Milecross has 4 rooms of catering for children 0-5 years old a garden a sensory room and a reading room to promote learning in all areas and ensure that all children have the best possible start in life. The settings curriculum is all about fostering independent learners encouraging and supporting all children to be leaders of their own learning developing the skills needed to learn and be independent in life preparing them for school and beyond.

In the role of Early Years Practitioner (Level 3) youll be allowing the children to explore and discover their own creativity individuality and imagination within our bright engaging and safe environments.

What youll be doing

In the role of Early Years Practitioner (Level 3) youll be:

• Supervising children and keeping our active flexible nursery environment safe and suited to their needs.
• Giving children a wide range of stimulating safe and well-planned activities.
• Creating engaging fun and informative learning opportunities to help children make excellent progress in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Building solid relationships with parents / carers families and professionals involved with the children.
• Meeting each of the childrens individual needs keeping accurate records and regularly communicating with parents / carers.
• Having a positive attitude making every single day count for the children in our care.

What we need from you

In the role of Early Years Practitioner (Level 3) were ideally looking for someone who has:

• A Level 3Early Years and Childcare qualification e.g. NNEB CACHE NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education or equivalentwhich is essential for the role.
• A passion to learn and develop whether you are newly qualified or an experienced practitioner.
• Full understanding of childrens emotional physical psychological and educational developmental needs from 0 to 5 years.
• A positive attitude with an unwavering commitment to service excellence to allow us to maintain our high standards.
