Job Description
Mount Annan Christian College offers teachers and leaders the opportunity to further develop as professionals and work in a school that has grown to be among the very best.
We have a wonderful opportunity for an experienced teacher or a new graduate within our Technologies team commencing in Term 1 2026. Suitably qualified professionals who have enthusiasm for and/or experience in teaching Stage 4 - 6Technologies are invited to apply for the position. The ideal applicant will have a dynamic and proactive approach to teaching be willing to immerse themselves into College life an enthusiasm for teaching young people and possess professional values.
Ensuring high quality educational outcomes to meet the highest possible standards for our students is part of our values and ethos. Teachers should be committed to their own professional development and expanding work practices to fulfil these values.
The successful candidate will have the ability to:
Demonstrate enthusiasm for and/or experience in teaching Technologies (Design & Technology or Industrial Technology Multimedia) to the HSC along with Stage 4 Technology Mandatory
Drive academic improvement in the area of literacy & numeracy from Yr 7-12
Demonstrate highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with staff students and parents
Work collaboratively within a team to lead in the further development of the Faculty
Model promote and represent the Colleges Vision Mission and Values.
Contribute to an innovative educational direction that exists within the College
Differentiate in the classroom to promote growth for each individual student
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the curriculum and assessment
Implement digital literacy with regard to application of pedagogy
Present appropriate tertiary qualifications including teaching qualifications
Assent to the Colleges Statement of Faith
