Responsibilities:
- Supervise design/drafting team coordinate workflow and conduct performance evaluations
- Provide CAD leadership direction and technical training
- Design complex components and assemblies using 3D CAD software
- Process engineering changes and maintain PLM system accuracy
- Support new product development from conception through production
- Generate 3D models and perform interference/tolerance analysis
- Assist engineers with prototyping and design improvements
- Coordinate with other departments on design development
- Implement procedural improvements to enhance productivity
Requirements:
- Associate degree required; Bachelor degree preferred
- 3 years related experience
- 2 years supervisory experience
- Advanced 2D/3D CAD (AutoCAD/Inventor) proficiency
- Experience with Oracle ERP MRP systems
- Understanding of Data Management/PLM systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent technical documentation capabilities
