Summary
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to Assist the Sales department to join our dynamic team at GEMCO. This role is pivotal in supporting our sales efforts and ensuring customer satisfaction as we continue to set new standards in the industrial manufacturing sector. You will play an essential role in driving our mission forward.
Responsibilities
- Communicating with clients to understand their needs and explain product value.
- Building relationships with clients based on trust and respect.
- Collaborating with internal departments to facilitate gathering specifications.
- Utilize company systems such as CRM ERP and proposal generators.
- Keeping accurate records pertaining to inventory and account notes.
- Research older CAD files for dimensions replacement parts and retrofits.
- Participate in group meetings and come up with solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collect track and analyze large amounts of data.
- Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent active listening skills and note taking skills.
- Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally.
- Understanding of consumer behaviors and industry trends.
- Demonstrate an in-depth product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Some experience with electrical systems is preferred particularly an understanding of control boxes and their functions.
