Role: Snowflake DBA (Database Administrator)
Location: Bangalore
Duration: Full-Time
Timings: 110 PM IST (Cabs & benefits provided)
Experience: 4 yrs
Work Mode: Completely Onsite (No Hybrid/ Remote model)

Position Overview:
As a Snowflake Administrator you will be responsible for the implementation configuration maintenance and optimization of our Snowflake data platform. You will work closely with data engineers analysts and other stakeholders to ensure the platform supports business needs and delivers high-performance data solutions. Your role will also involve identifying and resolving technical challenges maintaining security and driving continuous improvement in our data infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Snowflake Administrator or similar role with deep expertise in Snowflake data warehouse architecture.
- Strong understanding of SQL data modeling and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure GCP) and related data services.
- Experience with data security governance and compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving analytical and communication skills.
- Bachelors degree in computer science Information Systems or a related field is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Platform Management:
- Manage and maintain the Snowflake data platform ensuring optimal performance scalability and reliability.
- Monitor platform usage resource allocation and performance metrics to optimize system efficiency.
Data Security and Compliance:
- Implement and manage access controls data encryption and security policies to ensure data privacy and compliance with regulations.
- Perform regular audits and ensure adherence to security best practices.
Data Integration:
- Collaborate with data engineers to integrate Snowflake with data pipelines ETL processes and third-party tools.
- Support the ingestion of structured and unstructured data from various sources into Snowflake.
Performance Optimization:
- Fine-tune and optimize Snowflake queries storage and processing to meet business requirements.
- Conduct regular performance assessments and identify opportunities for improvement.
Support and Troubleshooting:
- Provide technical support for data-related issues and troubleshoot problems related to the Snowflake environment.
- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents and minimize downtime.
Documentation and Best Practices:
- Develop and maintain documentation for platform configurations workflows and processes.
- Establish and enforce best practices for Snowflake usage and data management.
